We’ve been spending most of our time working the mangroves and oyster bars in Clearwater Bay, and the Snook action has been absolute fire. We’re seeing a lot of aggressive hits on live greenbacks, especially on those outgoing tides. We’ve also been putting plenty of "Gator" Spotted Seatrout in the boat, with a few solid Redfish starting to school up on the shallower flats as the sun warms things up.

Just a few miles out in the Gulf nearshore waters, the Mangrove Snapper are thick on the ledges, and we’ve even run into some early season Spanish Mackerel that are putting up a heck of a fight on light tackle.
